Mobile App - Bus Travel

The Bus Travel mobile app is an interactive map and catalog of all Greyhound bus stations in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The app is published under the name Mapocosm and is available for Android on Google Play and for iPhone and iPad on the iTunes App Store.


Users can search for stations and get directions to any station. The mobile app immediately provides helpful information including contact phone numbers which can be dialed with a tap. The user can also search the areas nearby to a station, and get real-time schedule information.

A set of production scripts running on node.js pull address and station descriptions from greyhound.com, and then location information is determined based on geocoder APIs from Google and Microsoft.
